Parent: Byram Hills is not very diverse, we hear that. But that's NOT the school district's fault! The area has a certain demographic and the students that attend are a product of the community. The bottom line is that the district does an excellent job at educating whomever is attending. It does not matter what race/ethnicity the student is, he/she will get the best education offered in a public school district. Alum: Darien High School is an incredible school for college preparation, but the atmosphere can be stifling. The school is a pipeline for Ivy League kids and future hedge fund managers, and it offers incredible AP classes and even beyond. Junior: Bedford Central School District is a great experience. The teachers are very helpful whenever you need help. They always provide helpful tips and advice. The students on the campus are really friendly and there is many great people to hang out with. The campus is big and there is always things to do while it’s to study after and be with friends, or to study, or sports practice. The building is really nice and easy to maneuver. There’s many clubs to be part of like cooking club, fire and ice, spanish club, etc. The experience at BCSD is an amazing one.
