Alum: I was a student at BPS, graduated in 2015. Excellent teachers who truly cared about their students! Went to Central Park, Barker, Lincoln, and BHS. One of the downsides of BHS was the massive number of students made hallways and cafeterias crowded- but now that there’s two high schools I’m sure the problem isn’t as bad anymore. Thanks to the district being in Walmart’s HQ, there was a decent amount of diversity thanks to Walmart bringing in employees from all over. Lots of great field trips and opportunities for students. As a high school senior they had a ton of scholarship opportunities. Made life long friends in this district, would definitely recommend! Especially if you like sports and marching band!... Junior: Fayetteville High School provides so many great opportunities for it's students! No matter what a student wants to get involved in, Fayetteville High School has it. There are so many ways through the school to get involved in the community. Programs offered include everything from national honors society to baking club. The Fine Arts program is amazing as well. Just this year, the drama department put on the musical "You're a good man Charlie Brown" and it was incredible! The numerous career paths offered allow students to explore career interests while still in High School. Finally, the school is very good at preparing students for college with AP courses, ACT/SAT workshops, career classes, etc.... Read 53 reviews

Senior: I've enjoyed being a student at Rogers School District because it has great funding for their schools, which I have greatly appreciated as someone that went to public school in Los Angeles for most of my life. The funding for public education in Rogers -- as compared to LA -- was one of the most apparent and extreme shocks to me. There are lots of great clubs and programs, like the Rogers Honors Academy and Young Democrats, that I've really enjoyed. Though, I do believe there could be a greater focus on first-generation low-income students and a greater willingness to better represent historically disenfranchised students (students of color, queer students, low-income students etc) through events and programs, rather than such a large focus on sports and an almost "hands-off" approach to representing and providing the unique resources historically disenfranchised students often need.... Sophomore: My review is really only relevant to the Don Tyson School of Innovation in Springdale because that’s where I go to school; I don’t know much about the other high schools. DTSOI has a lot of unique programs like diesel tech, music composition, and ceramics! High quality equipment is provided for all of the elective programs, and there are lots of pathways. However, school spirit is incredibly lacking. The administration doesn’t seem to listen to student feedback and is resistant to many ideas for art installations or events that could get students more excited, and they also have a history of brushing off cases of bullying and harassment despite their supposedly strict anti bullying policies....
