Senior: Tamalpais high school has a beautiful accessible campus. The school has two gyms, a pool, a weight room and football fields as well as soccer and baseball fields. Tamalpais high school is one of the most beautiful schools I've ever been too and it's staff, employees and teachers are all nice and fun to talk too! Alum: I think one of the strengths of my high school was definitely diversity with people and programs offered. There’s a great selection of sports and visual and performing arts and anyone can join. The coaches will do their part in melding their students to become talented individuals whilst providing them the necessary resources. The one downfall I would say is the large spectrum of teachers. I wouldn’t say all teachers are the best of the best, but if you’re lucky you’ll get a teacher who loves teaching and is truly dedicated to helping you succeed. To overcome this hurdle, I’d definitely recommend you visit RateYourTeacher to navigate what teachers are fit your needs and speak to your counselor early on to help you get that specific teacher. Senior: Jefferson High School is a fantastic school in Daly City. The school has many resources available to student. From mental health, to plans after college; Jeff has it! They also have a variety of clubs: Activism Club, Medicine Club, Anime Club, Fil-Am Club, Girls who Code, and the list goes on. Senior: I like that the Jefferson School District if very diverse. The school I attend has people of multiple races but also religions. I also feel that my school does a very good job about preparing its students for college and allowing us to succeed in the future. The resources are the best part about the school, everything we need to learn is on the computer. We do not carry any textbooks which makes our bags so much lighter. Something I would change is the sports at my school. I do not have all the sports a typical high school would have. I would also change the school food for lunch, I would get it for lunch if it was good. Since it is not, I always bring my own food from home.... Read 2 reviews
