Senior: Masco has really nice infrastructure and some awesome teachers. While most of the kids are very snobby or self centered, there are enough chill people to have some close friends and whatnot. Some teachers are terrible, but only a select few, the rest are at least either nice people or good teachers. The food is pretty good, a lot of variety but not anything to write home about. The four star rating is mainly because of the extracurricular and sports at masco, so that’s cool.

Senior: As a student who attended school in MN and transferred to MA, I found that North Andover Public Schools was a diverse student body that embraced each others differences. The community is caring for one another and comes together in times of need. Having to navigate through the pandemic, our school went the extra mile to ensure that the proper protocols were in place to get us into the classroom. As a senior that was important to me. The music and art departments were my home for the 4 years in high school and the choir/band is GOLD level instruction as is my experience in the arts as well.

I recommend it highly to anyone interested in finding a school that goes the extra mile to help each other and embrace each student for who they are

Alum: Most teachers are great and really care about their students. The school was very clean and fairly new while I was there. Food in the cafeteria is alright, chicken nuggets with fries were always reliable. Genuinely enjoyed the time I spent here. Atmosphere is good, but people need to learn how to walk in the hallways. Football games were always fun.

Senior: At Haverhill High School I have thoroughly enjoyed some aspects of my time here. The after school activities are engaging and some of the teachers have made a huge impact. I have made quite a few friends and have memories I can take with me for the rest of my life. However, there are some aspects of HHS that I did not like. The food was average at best, and some of the teachers should not still be teaching after events in past years. I also think that the school would benefit from fixing the bathrooms and opening them to the students. They also should make resources more available to the students.

Senior: My experience in Lawrence Public Schools has been great so far. I have been pushed by my teachers and counselors to reach my goal and to try my very best every time. They have also helped me in my every step of applying to college and applying to scholarships. What I like the most about Lawrence Public Schools is that they always want to help you reach your best option when it comes to colleges or universities, also keeping in mind your financial status. There are no negative comments from my perspective towards Lawrence Public Schools, they always make the best decisions for the students and for their future.

Parent: Like all schools, LA is what you make of it. However, LA is special because the teachers, staff and administration give students so many opportunities to succeed - they don't give up! Each student has a trusted adult on the LA campus - teacher, advisor, coach, house parent - to talk to and confide in. The twice monthly Comment Cards provide students and their parents with a built in feedback system. College counseling - outstanding! Their staff is full time, well staffed and engaged with each student from the beginning. Soft intro in 9th, testing review throughout the 10th. Parents receive a detailed monthly newsletter (and lots of helpful links) through Decision Day in your child's senior year. Bonus -summer bootcamp to familiarize students with the Common App, review essay prompts and rough drafts, and college interview skills and do's and don'ts.
