Alum: When I was in school, I loved learning but was socially awkward. I was teased and bullied not only by children but also by a teacher and administrator, which was unfortunate because when I was in 11th grade, I couldn't take anymore and dropped out. I went and got my GED a few years later and went on to college. I had outstanding teachers for the most part but I wish that I could have found my way socially because I now pastor a small country church and it was very difficult for me to develope the social skills needed for this job after being beaten down so much of my life....
