Freshman: Eastside Catholic is a very welcoming school. I found the teachers very helpful, funny and kind. I understood concepts well and I enjoyed every day at school! The course selection is amazing and includes an array of subjects. I like the college readiness classes such as the UWHS classes. I found many classmates who were sweet and accepting of everyone. I liked Health class as it taught us many helpful strategies to tackle addiction, mental health, and improve overall wellbeing. I liked the fact that there were posters in the bathroom and on the walls which gave students information about mental health and how to seek help. I love school assemblies because they are filled with school spirit and fun games. I greatly appreciate the service opportunities given by Eastside Catholic because it really helps me find volunteer activities that I enjoy and love doing. I also appreciate how easy it is to talk to counselors and the staff at Student Services for whatever questions I might have.... Read 140 reviews

Parent: Our family has been at NCA for the past 13 years, and we could not be more pleased with the education our children have received. Our oldest graduated 2 years ago, and we decided to put him into public high school - and we quickly realized how fortunate we were to have had the private school experience at NCA for him. Unfortunately, the public school experience has not been great, being in advanced classes he is not being challenged at all and continues to this day to still be close friends with all of his NCA classmates. We have two other children at NCA, our oldest graduating from 8th grade this year, and will be heading to private high school and our youngest is currently in 2nd grade. NCA has become a family to us, and we are so thankful we are able to send our children to such an amazing school with academic excellence and with Christian teachings alongside. Senior: Going to the Academy of the Holy Cross, I’ve discovered who I am. I loved growing and learning with other young women and sharing different life/culture/ religious experiences with one another. One great memory that I have from Holy Cross is our Holy Cross days! Huge competition between all the grades from 9-12. At the end of the day we all come together as a community and close with a prayer. Even though traditions at Holy Cross do change I hope that everyone’s energy is in the same place! That is something I hope would never change. One thing I would like to see more from Holy Cross are more presentations and celebrations about people cultures. The Academy of the Holy Cross does a good job with celebrating but I hope that there is a little more effort. I love being apart of the celebration and talking about my heritage.... Read 193 reviews
