Senior: Delaware Academy is a small school that helps their students reach their highest potential ! The high school guidance counselor helps each student as an individual when searching for college. I had the guidance of my parents, but she made sure all of my paper work was sent out on time. Although we have been accepted to colleges, we are still encouraged to work hard in school daily. There are many scholarships that are given out at graduation. The monetary awards are given out fairly. It’s important for the school to make sure all of the students that deserve awards get money towards college. This I personally feel is how the school is supportive of everyone at graduation. Some students choose the work force, a year off before college or to go right into college. You are never shunned for your choice and that’s important ! It’s important because college is not for everyone. The fact that you are graduating is the first step, and then what you want for your future will follow.... Read 17 reviews
