Senior: During my time in Duncanville High School, I was given the opportunity to enter an early college program my sophomore year. Not only was I able to enjoy my freshman year as a regular student, joining several clubs and getting to work in my endorsements, having photography and graphic design, but I've also been provided with a college experience. Being able to enjoy the opportunity of experiencing college life while in high school is what made me enjoy my experience in Duncanville High School, as well as being able to receive my associates degree all free of charge.... Senior: My four years at DesotoISD have had it's ups and downs. My freshman and sophmore years were exciting and new to me in high school. I had challenging classes that I overcame and managed to make a great GPA. I enjoyed being involved in the male chorus and participating in performances. During my junior year I participated virtually due to the pandemic. The virtual experience was new and different for everyone, but I managed to maintain my grades and I was inducted in to the National Honor Society. This kept me motivated to continue striving to do my best in class no matter how different this experience was not only for me, but all students. Now that I am a senior and back face to face in the classroom, I am getting to know more students and trying to get involved in school organizations. I have had a good experience at Desoto High, but I hope that I can have more one on one with my counselor.... Read 134 reviews
