Alum: As a former student for Stevenson, I recommend sending your child here! They have great resources and the teachers are always going to push your child to be the best. If I was falling behind, they would set me up with resources that made me succeed. Because of this, I was able to graduate with honors! The food is wonderful and they have a ton of healthy options. They take each student into consideration and always offer the best solution to any problem. The only reason why I took off a star is because of the sports. I played volleyball and I felt like sometimes politics got involved and it affected playing time for some of the students. This created a lot of toxicity within the team and created unnecessary drama. However, on the bright side, a lot of the sports teams perform really well and the coaches do care about the players well-being. That was the only downside of attending Stevenson. Senior: My experience with Township High School was absolutely phenomenal. As a student who identifies with being in the LGBTQ+ community, there was never a moment where I felt uncomfortable or out of place. The resources I was provided with to let my education excel were far greater than my peers from other schools. I have had few to no bad experiences, especially with teachers and administrators. Alum: As a 2019 alum of Rolling Meadows High School, I can say that my overall experience at the school was positive. The school provided a rigorous academic curriculum with many opportunities for extracurricular activities, sports, and clubs. One of the strengths of Rolling Meadows High School was the diversity of the student body. I had the opportunity to meet and learn from students with different backgrounds and experiences, which helped me to develop my own perspective on the world. The teachers at Rolling Meadows High School were knowledgeable and dedicated. They pushed me to think critically and to develop my analytical skills. The school offered many advanced courses, such as AP and honors classes, which prepared me well for college-level work. One area that could be improved was the school's facilities. Senior: I participated in multiple sports. The coaches were teachers who knew little about the sport. They only had 6 clubs. The teachers also were not able to find time to assist their students if they needed help like at Stevenson. I felt like the school did not prepare me for Stevenson since teachers were not always nice to students or wanted to find time to help them succeed. Also, the homework load was a drastic change and I think teachers should try to assist students and prepare them for what to expect in high school.... Read 5 reviews

Niche User: The resources that Deerfield supplies to its students are amazing, in teachers and academics as well as in culture based around after school activites. The school lacks in some areas, such as not investing money into anything besides extensions of physical sport activities, the location leading to a non-diverse group of students in general, and some other applications that are caused by its foundation and the area it evolves in. Alum: I would like to see more funding for important clubs such as the Lit Lab Tutoring Center. There was a lot of funding for the Engineering section of the school, as well as the music department which was very nice since I was I involved in the orchestra program, but STEM camp and Lit Lab Tutoring was not funded enough my graduating year, which I would like to see change....
