Senior: As a student coming out of Bixby my teachers have throughly prepared me for college, with everything from AP classes and credit, to ACT prep, College readiness classes, and discipline within the classroom and through athletics, clubs, and programs. I had the option of Oklahoma School for Science and Math and still chose to stay here with the community and involvement because of fantastic teachers and all the opportunities they can create at a bigger school vs a smaller public or private school.... Junior: I love the variety of classes and sports that are offered at my school. We have College classes and Tech classes on campus as well. I have made so many great friends during my years at Union. Union supports band, sports, academics and technical trade learning all with great enthusiasm. I feel as though my teachers have always been supportive and encouraging of my choices. When I graduate I will have completed their medical science program. I think this is great program to help student decide if they are truly interested in the medics field. Union is a very diverse school and I love experiencing different cultural celebrations and walks of life. My younger siblings attend Union as well. Senior: Broken Arrow is a very well-rounded school district. The staff at all educational sites (elementary, middle, and high school) love and care deeply for all of the students. I have gone to Broken Arrow since my third grade year (nine years!), and I have always been welcomed with open arms by all of my teachers. I am still in contact with many of them today. Not only is every teacher excellent in an academic and educational sense, they also take the time to get to know their students. Nothing means more to students than knowing their teachers are striving to build a relationship with them. I have been involved in the band program for six years as well, and through that, I have acquired many skills and values such as time management, respect, responsibility, and so much more that it would take several posts to describe them all. Going to school in Broken Arrow has been a dream that I will remember forever. I will miss this school when I graduate, but I will forever BA tiger.... Read 98 reviews

Freshman: I am a student at TPS and I’ve yet to experience anything conflicting to my educational experience. The mental health resources have been improving, as well as the learning experience. Physical education has been excellent at TPS for quite a while! I would most definitely recommend this district over most surrounding ones. Alum: I was at Ideaventions from 7th grade through 12th grade, and it was a phenomenal experience. The teachers give high quality, engaging lessons. Roughly half of the classes are project based, even the English classes, something that I think is great when it comes to learning how to work effectively. The engineering classes are all hands on, where the classwork revolves around designing and building systems. The math curriculum is deep and efficient, the teachers present the information in an efficient manner that gets at the core axioms of a concept which us students then extrapolated and implemented in order to solve problems, a method I find to be far superior to the traditional approach of memorizing steps to solve problems. The clubs! These were the best part of the school, and there are all kinds of fun clubs. A few of my favorites were the Naturalist club, Inventor's club, Math Honors Society, Dungeons and Dragons club, and the Sysadmin club. I 100% recommend this school.... Read 12 reviews

Parent: My daughter has been attending BISW since nursery due to our well regarded public school remaining close during the pandemic. We’re in Primary now and we simply love the school and have no plans to leave despite having a local and good public option. Staff at BISW are competent, kind, responsive and the school is well organized. Clear and constant communication from teachers and administrators is the norm. The curricula is strong and very focused on child literacy. My child is thriving. As others have mentioned, the facilities are not grand, but given the small classes and school size they certainly make good use of the space. Classrooms are well appointed. A new gym being built.
