Alum: I will always be proud to represent the Coal City Coalers for the rest of my life. This school district gave me a great education, overall experience, and many memories to treasure forever. The only critique I have is the high school teaching staff and coaching staff. The tests scores are good, but there are a few teachers that do not belong at the school district. There are also some coaches who are unfair and pick favorites, despite the good athletic records.

Minooka Community Consolidated School District No. 201
- School District
- Minooka, IL
Senior: Personally I really like Minooka High School. I feel like the school is preparing me very well for college with the dual credit courses and AP classes. There is a class for students that are at all different academic levels. Minooka has really good teachers that know what they are teaching to their students. Also, the school has a wide variety of clubs, activities, and sports; there is an activity for everybody. Overall, the school is well-kept and clean. To add to the school's environment, I feel like Minooka Community High School is a safe campus and I have never felt unsafe while being there.

British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park
- Private School
- Chicago, IL
- PK, K-6
Parent: This school has a straight forward academic approach that works. We transferred from a school that was considered a top ranking school in Chicago because the curriculum was more a focus on social causes than academic learning. Some of the top ranked schools are surviving on reputation only. When a student from British would transfer into our old school they were years ahead of all the other students. That should tell you something. Do your research.
