Junior: I really loved this school! The teachers actually know what they're doing, there are fun classes and since no one wants to go to "nerd school" unless they're actually nerds, most people there know what they're doing as well. I'll really miss my friends when I leave. One thing I would change is that, while there are clubs for a lot of things, there are no sports, theatre, or dance for after school. You can go to other schools for it though. Another is that, because it is on a college campus, there isn't a school lunch option. You can buy a hot meal, go out to eat or go to the convenience store, but you're not going to spend less than $6 if you want a full meal. Unless you bring it from home, which I did. Junior: SUCCESS Academy is amazing for me! It definitely isn't for everyone though. The courses are very rigorous and you end up going home with hours upon hours of homeowrk. The best part of SUCCESS though is the friends that you make there. I've made so many good friends and we all work together on so much homework and school work and we have a blast doing it. And the teachers are amazing as well! You can definitely tell there is the nerdy but also the antisocial social vibe coming from everyone, and the only way we can describe it is by saying, "Just the way SUCCESS is". Every teacher is very invested into the students and their work as well! They're caring for the students and they're passionate for their work and it really makes SUCCESS feel like a second home! In fact, if you ask a lot of us students, SUCCESS is our home away from home. Senior: Park City High School is set up to help students succeed. Students have so my outlets to express themselves. They also have multiple opportunities to get additional help whether it be the student tutoring program or MathLab. The teachers want to see students do well and will often stay after school to assist students with their needs. Park City offers a large range of classes to ensure that students can find a class that both interests them and meets them where they are at academically. Senior: I think that Canyons School District has really good values. They are very serious about school safety and they are very invested in their students. At Alta High, they congratulate students when they do things well and assist students who are struggling in any way they deem necessary. I think they do a wonderful job shaping students for high school readiness and have done a god job in preparing students for college. There have been many teachers who have treated me as an adult and have made sure every students is treated with respect. Alum: I had a mediocre experience with my education. Once Canvas became the mainstream form of education it seemed teachers forgot how to help students. You would come back from a trip and ask “what content did I miss” and every teacher responds with “check canvas”. The experience was very frustrating as I am am individual who likes to hear someone explain content rather than read how I am supposed to complete an assignment. The only time I got a great education experience was during a summer school course I took in person. The teacher was phenomenal and made me interested in science again! As Davis school district is a very vast school district, one thing I noticed is forms of teasing/bullying depending on a household income. Most of the “weird” kids are the ones with lower household incomes and the kids to “look up to” or “popular” are the kids who are more wealthy. Senior: My experience with Alpine School District has been overwhelmingly positive. In my 12+ years of attending school in Alpine School District, I have been grateful for the caring teachers, the safe environment, and the incredible opportunities given to students. The faculty and staff are, for the most part, kind, patient, and efficient. If I could see something change, I would choose increased unity within the students. I recognize that with such a large district it is difficult to develop connections between students. However, I feel that more of an emphasis on teamwork and unity within the curriculum would be beneficial to the district. Junior: The last three years have had a lot of ups and downs at our school. My first year was hard but it was hard for everyone because that was the covid year. The next year got even harder because although covid had died down, we had other problems. We had to start rebuilding the school one section at a time. This has been very stressful and has made the school feel sort of unsafe at times. But now that part of the school has been rebuilt I'm very happy about having all the construction. I feel way safer and have a much better attitude toward school. Senior: Rich High School is a small school in the 1A classification. This particular defining characteristic is a double-edged sword. The camaraderie and school spirit that grow and thrive in a place where you personally know each of your 150 schoolmates is unmatched. Your small class of 40 becomes your team, your confidants, and your dearest friends, but also your inescapable critics, and more inhibiting, an echo chamber reverberating with ignorantly conservative worldviews and ideas. Junior: The best part of my experience in jordan school district is all of the amazing people i have befriended that have taught me so much. The teachers here are also amazing and life changing as well as the school councelor i have here. He has helped me so much and i am so grateful for him every day. The worst part of my experience is some of the teachers. Its very rare but ive had a bad teacher or two and they do not make school easy,but they have also taught me that life isnt always fair and you get what you get because you cant control how other people decide to act, you just gotta deal with the challenges dont give up and keep moving. Senior: I really enjoy going to school at the Daggett School District. The class sizes are very small, so it makes for more one-on-one interaction with the students and teachers. They are better able to help each individual learn. I also liked how my school is so close. Everybody knows everybody, and, even though there are they moments when others don't get along, we all are really good friends. One thing that I would change about the Daggett School District is finding a way that there can be a wider selection of classes. Since it is so small, not as many classes can be offered, but I hope that one day soon they will be able to find a way to do this. I feel that it will open new doors for students that are interested in many different things, but never get to take classes related to those interests.... Read 1 review

Senior: The Visual Arts area is amazing! Great teachers and student Interaction. One of My favorite classes was with Montierth and Hall in the art class rooms. We have a good team spirit in the school, helping others by lifting each other up on and off the court. They also have a lot of CE Credits that you can earn for college and there are only 15 dollars per class. I have been able to get 29 Collage credits from Weber state: that is half of an associate degree. The teachers are amazing, always encouraging you to work on your dreams and pursue your education. As well as preparing you for college, job interviews, resumes, your overall writing skills. I am horrible at writing and needed help improving it so it would flow better in a paragraph. I thank my history teacher from my Ce class: Hist 1700. Thanks Madison I love this school and I will always bleed blue go silver wolves! Senior: Logan City School District allows students to learn. The district is also very open and accepting of different people. Logan High is especially very diverse and is open to different ideologies. The teachers here are wonderful and most of them encourage their students to learn. We have lots of school pride, even if we don't always win in sports. The councilors are pretty alright. We could have a better system for people who are struggling mentally. The school also can't decide on a time to start and/or end, and the introduction of homeroom is useless. Citizenship grades also depend on attendance exclusively, so it is painful to miss a day of school and get repercussed for it.... Read 47 reviews
