Senior: Jenks High School (JHS) is one of the many major public school in Tulsa, Oklahoman. The teachers are passionate about their works and help each students as much as possible. It has a great program for students that just movie from different country. JHS is a school filled with diversity and has no discrimination against any students. Parent: I can't say enough positive about this district. We have kids in the elementary, middle, and high schools currently. The leadership is caring, insightful, and invested. Teachers want to be there. Parents want to be there. Kids have an incredible experience. This creates a very positive community and network of relationships. Also, being a medium sized district (4A for activities/sports) gives kids access to everything a larger school can offer, while at the same time not forcing kids to specialize at an early age. Senior: My freshman year was during the height of COVID, but my school did the absolute best they could to give a learning experience that was of the highest possible quality. My sophomore year was so much fun! I made so many new friends and got to have a normal high school experience thanks to COVID restrictions coming down. We also got a new band director that year and he sent us right to the top, breaking school records on the way for marching band, concert band, and jazz band. My junior year was a really rough patch. I was in a toxic relationship and began struggling with depression and attempting suicide. Thankfully, I didn't follow through and ended up in a psychiatric hospital where I received help. The school staff handled the whole situation extremely well. That year we also got the highest marching score our school ever received and won state jazz band Championships. Sophomore: I love going to byng and I think all of the teachers are great and have a purpose to educate us and make us happy. I would like to see us get a volleyball team though. Parent: We have 3 boys that have it are going through Stillwater Public School. Our oldest just graduated and is 100% a product of the school system. He has had the opportunity to be a part of an academic team, orchestra, swim team, honors class and lots of student groups. The support that has been provided to him from Pre-K to HS from teachers and administration is more than we ever anticipated. Our middle son, will begin Jr. High in August. He has special needs, Stillwater Public School has provided more services than we could have hoped for. He has flourished under the school systems guidance. Our youngest will begin 7th grade in August. SMS has provided him the opportunity to figure out what he likes and doesn’t like in a safe educational environment. Throughout this last pandemic year, Stillwater Public Schools adapted, gave, cared and did everything they could to provide for every student the needs of education, peace and hope. Alum: I attended Owasso schools from 6th grade to graduation, and thoroughly annoyed the school. The staff and teachers truly care about the students, not just their grades and attendance, but also their wellbeing, their home life, and their future. Most of the teachers I had wanted to make a difference in our lives, teach us how to succeed not just in the class, but how to become well rounded, mature adults who can contribute to society. The only downside was that arts and music sometimes got pushed to the back burner. As a 6A championship school in most sports, they heavily focused their efforts and money on the sports programs. The arts got a fair amount of funding most of the time, but when it came to replacing art supplies, purchasing new equipment for theater classes, or buying new computers for the yearbook department, they were a little more hesitant. Senior: I have gone to Chisholm Public schools since I was in Pre-K. The Elementary School and Middle School are amazing. Our middle school won the Blue Ribbon award a few years ago. The High School has gone through some bg changes in faculty over the years, so we are having to rebuild a lot of things. In my opinion, we have the best School system in our town. If I lived here when I was older I would send my kids here. I have learned a lot and they have really prepared me for college, but more importanly I have learned a lot of life lessons here.... Senior: Marlow High School is prided with connecting to each and every individual who walks within the building. The student body is heavily involved within the extracurricular opportunities provided by the faculty which pour into each person. Senior: I moved into the Jones school district and immediately felt at home in the school and community. The teachers and coaches care about the students above anything else. The school and the people there are like my second family. There is so much support at every sporting event. Jones has faced some rough times and no matter what the town has always come together. Jones will always be my home and the school is the heart of that. There is not much I can think of to change about Jones. Senior: I’ve lived in Laverne my entire life so I know I can’t compare my experiences to other school districts but I believe that I was lucky in the place I grew up. Our school is known for having many hard working students and staff who have achieved great things after graduating. All of our administration and students take pride in how we act to and in other places that we visit or that visit us. Now every school has students who like to cause trouble and we have our fair share but I know for a fact compared to others, ours tend to be on the smaller side. Our school could use some updating on appliances and just overall structure, we’ve had the same lockers as some of the older teachers when they went to school there. I also think that our school tends to be old school in our rules and the way they run things. Senior: A little over 10 months ago I moved to Pontotoc county and started attending Latta High School. I was a Jr at the time and only knew a handful of people. The teachers and staff are very friendly and thrive to create relationships with their students. The students are great kids but since it is a small scool there's alot of disclusion amount friend groups unless you are an athlete. The athletic teams are great and the whole school does so much to support the players! They love to inspire one another and see the school succeed. The academics are challenging but not too much to handle. You can always find a teacher more willing too help you, plus there's always before and after tutoring sessions. Overall my experience at Latta was great and I would recommend this school to anyone seeking a school focused on athletic teams and a great education.... Read 10 reviews

Senior: I loved the community that I had the opportunity to find at DCHS, and I had some very amazing teachers.
