Junior: I would overall say Kindred is a great school. The academics are a little bit more challenging and the bonds between teachers and peers is amazing. Senior: I love the teachers in this school district. They care about the students and they care about your academic success. Some of the schools in this school district look like they need some renovations. The school administration tries to over correct and sometimes hurts the student. During dangerous conditions, during the winter, they have us drive to school and that causes a few accidents. But the students and teachers are amazing. They make the experience better.... Alum: In my time in Bismarck Public Schools, I feel as though I took full advantage of all the opportunities available to me, and in turn that made my experience very rewarding and enjoyable. The best part of my experience was the many lifelong friendships I made through involvement in activities such as sports, classes, and leadership groups. This experience also helped me to develop as a student in preparation for college, but also as an adult to function in society post graduation. The high school I attended utilized a flex block schedule similar to what is used in college, and this was easily one of my favorite aspects of my school experience. Lessening the required classroom time allowed driven students to apply this extra time to the topics or challenges which really needed more attention rather than being swamped with more busy work while sitting in a class which provided very minimal struggle. Senior: I attend North High School in Fargo. It's a good school district overall. There are a plethora of sports, clubs, and activities to be involved in. However, there have been too many teachers fired or "removed from staff" for misconduct with students, which I find unacceptable. It continues to happen, even after more staff training was added. Senior: Northern Cass is one of the best schools I have been too. Everyone is like family. Everyone is Always there for you no matter what. And they also are taking a new turn of education with personalized learning to help kids learn and tailor their learning to their own special needs and how they learn best. they also have so many opportunities for students like school to work helping the elementry school teachers, volunteer hours in the community and internships. Junior: I didn't start going to LaMoure school until my sophomore year of high school. Before then I went to Milnor public school. Although I've only been at LaMoure school for a year and a half, it has taught me much more than Milnor. LaMoure teachers are much nicer and willing to help, students are nicer, and they take care of any sort of bullying or harassment. LaMoure staff is always very friendly and willing to assist you with whatever you may need. Teachers prepare you for college, while also being understanding of situations. The material is easy to understand and if you have questions they explain it with more detail. They've taught me how to properly write a paper, emails, and letters. I wasn't taught as much as I should have been while in Milnor and LaMoure helped me catch up. Overall i think LaMoure is a very good school and is understanding of different situations.... Senior: Central Cass is the best school I could imagine going to. There are so many programs that set you up for the world outside high school. Parent: I think its a great school to go to especially when it comes to moving in to a small town. Or coming from someplace far away somewhere. Its a great place to consider. Everyone at the school (teachers, students, staff) are all friendly to you. In 2019, a small little school called Wolf Ford Public school shut down, and everyone was sad about it. After the closure, me and the rest of the Wolf Ford Public school gang had to go our separate ways. Some were homes schooled while others went to schools far away. When it came to my family however, my dad wanted to take me and my sister to Can do ND. While my mom wanted to take us to Roll Me and my sister thought about it for a while, and we decided to go to Roll. Once we got there, it was a very nice school (gym, cafeteria, etc.) We loved it. Then my mom registered us for it, and we were both happy. But on the first day, however we were both very nervous, but in the end it was a good choice of school to go to after all.... Read 7 reviews

Alum: This is a great high school, my parents transferred me from a smaller rural school into Carrington at 9th grade. This was the best thing not only for athletics but academics as well. I was able to catch up in math, take college classes and excel in athletics. Only downfall would be they have too many coaches that favor local kids or their own kids playing sports....
