Senior: While going to a District of Columbia Public School, it has helped me to gain resources and exposure. In DCPS they provide students to have the experience of having a paid internship and teach kids to create a resume when they apply for a job. DCPS has helped kids to get ready for college. For example, DCPS create college events for students to visits campus and to treat them as an independent individual. Also, DCPS is very diverse, in school, they really care about children's cultural backgrounds. In DCPS we celebrate Black History Month, Spanish Heritage, Chinese New Year, and many more. DCPS wants kids to feel welcome and to feel the honor of going to a well-educated school. As a senior, I have made great memories with teachers, Staff, and especially classmates. It shows me how to become an independent woman and to find resources when I graduate high school. Also to get ready for the real world and follow my dreams of becoming a radio presenter and filmmaker.
