Senior: An overall very pleasant experience with students, teachers, and other faculty members. While attending school here for all of my high school experience there are obviously bound to be some bumps in the road which leads to a 4 star rating rather than 5. Some staff members treat students as if they were their own children, which makes the high school experience worthwhile. No place is perfect but this school continuously strives for perfection.... Senior: Williamsville high school is a Elementary- high school, school district located in Williamsville, Illinois. The Williamsville community is a tight knit community where everyone knows everyone. It is rated very high in the state of Illinois for good school districts. It has amazing staff that support and encourage kids to try their hardest every day. Growing up in the Williamsville community all my life I have had a wonderful time. Throughout my whole childhood teachers pushed me to learn and grow while also making it enjoyable. Now being a high school student the same applies, the teachers are amazing. Alum: My overall experience with District 186 was fair. While in high school some of my best moments were creating new friends, figuring out who I was as a person, as well as going to a great amount of school activities and parties. The worst parts came fairly after COVID-19. learning online at home was something I was incapable of doing, and not because I did not want to there were just too many distractions at home that I could not bypass . My grades slipped and it was very hard to recover, However District 186 has some hidden gems (staff) that understood me as a person, and cheered me along the whole way. I appreciate every experience that District 186 were able to provide for me. From learning how to spell my name to walking across that stage and receiving my Diploma. Although I would not change my experience for the world, I will say that I would have liked to see more teachers with the compassion to help their students learn and understand the material that they were handing out.... Parent: The school, because of the small class size, offers individualized instruction and attention to each student. Opportunities for advanced learning and workforce prep programs are made available for HS students. The educators care about the students and take interest in their education. Small communities lack diversity but all students are welcomed by faculty and peers alike. Middle School Student: I had to leave this school due to bullying from teachers. Over the years besides one teacher all teachers that were bullying me were fired. The last teacher, who to my knowledge is still there, has changed immensely. Senior: Morrisonville offered lots of one on one help and the students were the ones that set the pace for the lessons and when to move on. My class especially was ahead of a lot of the due dates. Senior: I love my high school. The teachers and classes are great, but we could use more AP classes starting at the freshman level. The best part of school is having good relationships with the teachers and being able to talk to them about personal stuff if we need to. Senior: Tri-City is a very unique High School. We are a very small class and I somewhat like it that way. I have many personal relationships with many people from this school. Its very easy to find your group of people. With these small classes it feels like they are one on one. Many teachers do not feel rushed when having to teach. Many people are unable to get overwhelmed, students and teachers. Senior: My experience with South Fork was pretty good overall. I had a fairly decent connection with my teachers, and got along well with most of my peers. The community does pretty well to make sure students feel safe, for the most part. I would like more action to be taken against students that partake in bullying, as well as educate students on cleanliness with lockers.
