Alum: Great teachers. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and I feel like everyone there has your best interests at heart. I think in the most recent years people have become more vocal with their opinions but that will be everywhere you look. We have great clubs, including the theatre club I participated in that puts on great plays for everyone. Senior: It was a pretty ordinary high school, there are a few odd students but it's overall a good school. The school food was average, definitely better than the middle school food. The lunch ladies and the staff at the high school attended were overall very nice and helping people. Whenever I had a problem or a question the teachers were very patient and understanding, there are a few rude teachers but every school has them. They have a very wide range of extracurricular activities to choose from, which is very good. A very wide range of academics to choose from for many fields, but the high school does little to nothing when it comes to college readiness. The most the school does is give out the act for free to the juniors, as a student planning to attend college I had to find resources and scholarships on my own. Music and Arts are very underfunded, but at least the school has them. The administration at the high school I attended was overall very good.... Read 14 reviews

Parent: Tallassee City Schools is a great school with a lot of genuinely caring teachers however, I have seen signs of favoritism within the students in certain situations throughout the years so my rating is not to point out any one incident as I'm speaking in general &y belief is favoritism of any kind is unacceptable & should not be tolerated as it causes a divide not only in the students but in the parents of those students as well as setting up a negative environment for all to be in. Equalness among students is a must & should be exercised to the fullest! Senior: Based on the schools I've attended, Montgomery County Schools has a good education system. Many of the teachers I've had were amazing and went out of their way to help students. Middle School Student: I would like to see some diversity because bullock county is a predominantly black school. The schools are on the failing list every year and the food it horrific. The sports are good yeah that’s probably the only thing that bullock county is known for not academics. Also the teachers are lackadaisical they just give you page numbers out the book and you do it. Some of the teachers actually teach but not majority .They have the resources though the schools have mac computers and laptops. Overall this is not the school you would want to attend....
