Junior: Awesome to be here! Moved here from FWCS, and overall this place has been better in terms of education and the schools themselves. It's in a nicer area, buildings aren't broken, and the staff are awesome! I have enjoyed working with my peers and teachers, and have been quite a bit more challenged. The highschool has a lot of classes, AP and Dual credit options, and ways to intern or work with teachers. I'm unaware as to what exactly I am wanted to say? I'll just answer the questions..... Senior: I am currently a senior in this high school district. I have only been a part of the public education system for my high school years. I belong to one of the smaller schools in the district and can easily say that I have learned how to connect with people outside of my own school. This quality has made it easier to go about my college preparation journey. Works Here: As a parent, I like the AP course offerings as well as the new Manufacturing initiatives. These kids are ready for college or work! I love the local funding and scholarship opportunities for students. I love the history filled summer trips abroad available to students. My kids did not play sports here, but currently I think most sports would welcome all players and coaches. It's been several years since the last change in leadership and with change comes improvement typically. As a district we employee approximately 500+ people. We have fantastic benefits, including a clinic, and liberal paid time off. We are expecting a large number of retirees this year across all position classes, so new career opportunities for young people are opening up and with that the opportunity for fresh, new approaches in what we do. Senior: This is a very good school. It does lack diversity, but that’s not anyone’s fault, just the area it’s in. The sense of community is amazing. Senior: My experience through the North Adams Community School district was great! Almost all of my teachers from grades k-12 were very personable. Up until high school when they become less involved, in order to prepare you for the real world. There were still plenty of teachers that were concerned about your personal life/problems if you were beginning to get bad grades. I had a handful of teachers I could go to for anything that was going on in my life. The academics were just as good! I earned more than 15 college credits through Bellmont High School. Junior: I have really enjoyed my 3 years at Garrett High School. We have a program called the ICC or better known as the academy. I spend a lot of my time in the academy in my three years and plan to my senior year. The academy is a really fun learning program. We are able to learn at our own pace and come up with different ways to learn. One of my favorite projects I have done was last year, when I taught a seminar. I taught a few students about a really cool story named ‘Moneyball’. It’s a story about a Major League Baseball team that didn’t have a lot of money, but they still found ways to win. I really enjoy sports and this book/movie, so when I was able to teach other students about it, I was super exited. Because of the academy I was able to do this and earn english credit from it. I’ve really enjoyed my three years at Garrett, but I only gave it four stars because I believe there’s always room for improvement.... Read 15 reviews

Alum: My experience with East Noble School Corporation was a great environment overall full of teachers that were very qualified and very compassionate about the students and their success. I was in this district from first grade to graduating in 2017. This school opened up so many opportunities for myself personally and made so many life long connections that have helped me and continue to help me with my success til this very day! Senior: Overall, my experience with Fort Wayne Community Schools has been enjoyable with my only concern being lack of information when it comes to announcements and important dates. I feel they lack in communication and would like to see this improved by the time my sibling enters middle school. They provide free lunch meals that I would say is adequate, the learning experience is inconsistent ranging from terrible to engaging and exciting. The district overall I feel, prepares you for college well; however, SAT preparation comes out of left field and the importance of it is never fully conveyed until senior year which I feel is too late for many who want to be prepared in advance.... Alum: My experience in the Huntington Count Community School Corporation was an overall positive experience. They provided me with an excellent amount of resources that I was not only able to graduate as junior, but I was also able to graduate with Academic Honors. The school corporation did an astonishing job of making sure the resources used within the classrooms were also the best of the best. I was not only able to work with an iPad while I was student, but also received a MacBook Pro my last three years as a student. However, something I would improve upon through the corporation is providing more resources that make students more aware of the options of graduating early. Senior: The worst part about being at Columbia City High School is that some teachers are unbearable but the other teachers make up for that so much. Another bad part is when our makerspace ( the place where we make projects) is bare and empty.
