Parent: Our family has been at Bullis for 9 years now, our child started in the 3rd grade. So, we have experienced all three divisions: Lower, Middle, and Upper School. What stands out in all divisions is the excellent quality of the teachers and the academic programming: teachers are caring, meet the student where they are; they challenge the kids, push them to reach higher, expand their horizons; they are creative - learning is not just book-learning, it is interactive, deep, hands-on, and therefore exciting for the kids.
Balance is a huge focus at Bullis: kids are able to be athletes and participate in the fantastic visual & performing arts program (musical, Jazz Band, pit orchestra, art studio, tech crew, etc.) at the same time. I love that my child who is more focused on academics and music, also has the ability to participate in a Varsity sport.
Bullis has truly become our second home over the year - the community couldn't be more welcoming and warm.
