Parent: We enrolled our son for his junior year in the fall of 2020. We made the decision because the online learning offered by our public school did not work for our son. Fusion staff met with us to determine the appropriate classes to take and even offered and conducted a 'trial' session so our son could get a feel for how it would work. Even though a lot of the year was conducted virtually due to COVID it was still a great experience. One-on-one online classes are very different than one teach and 25-30 students. 5 out of 6 of my son's teachers took the time to really get to know him, understand how he learns and what makes him tick. The teachers are able to connect with students at Fusion in a way that just is not possible in larger environments. Parent: My daughter began attending St. Bernadette School in the 7th Grade following our move to Northern Virginia. We couldn't be more pleased with her experience. The teachers, staff, student and parents are dedicated, kind, and caring. They helped her transition to a rigorous Catholic education, including first-time instruction in religion, grammar, cursive, and Spanish. Parent: The curriculum is strong, with students working above grade level in many subjects. Teachers set high expectations and then help each child achieve those goals in a warm and nurturing environment. Each day students’ folders are filled with the work that they have completed so that parents can be informed of their child’s progress. Any obstacles are handled at early stages and the child is treated with the utmost respect every step of the way. The emphasis on STEAM is helping to prepare students for a successful future. Every member of the staff knows each kid--not only their names, but their individual personalities. Additional benefits of ACE include smaller class sizes, character development, a uniform that minimizes drama in the mornings, responsive staff, and an exceptional facility.
