Alum: Queensbury is a district full of enthusiastic teachers, wonderful administrators, a surplus amount of extracurricular opportunities, great sports, fantastic arts programs, and not to mention top-of-the-line academic rigor and excellence. Queensbury's academic programs prepared me extremely well for college, which I can't say about most other school districts. There was always an event to be involved in or faculty that was eager to help. Queensbury, however, did lack diversity in both the student and faculty realm, which I recognize now that I go to an extremely diverse college. The Queensbury schools were always clean, modern, and resourceful. There were plenty of areas to socialize as well as rooms for relaxing or studying. Senior: My experience and Lake George had been AMAZING!! I have gone to Lake George since pre-school. All of the teachers care so much about the students and put TONS of effort into their job. The education you will receive at Lake George is like no other. I have been able to make such tight connections with my teachers that I would not be able to do at a huge school. Lake George is very small school where everyone knows everyone, this has its pros and cons (obviously). Senior: I've attended Warrensburg Jr/Sr High School for all 6 years, after moving from a bigger school in Texas two years prior. The first thing I noticed is that the teachers are very attentive and caring. The smaller class sizes allow the teacher to focus on each student individually. The bathrooms and floors are always clean, and the custodial staff are always very kind. For a small school, there is a myriad of extracurricular activities to partake in; a wide range of sports, and a well funded drama program. There are lots of electives in art and music, as well as business and science. The main downside is the fact that there are not a lot of teachers to be hired in this area. This means when teachers are inadequate or apathetic, there's not much the school can do. Furthermore, the dress code is restrictive, though this is the case for most schools.... Read 7 reviews

Alum: I went to school here from the late 99 - 2012, There’s nothing wrong with the school really. It’s exactly what you’d expect when you think of a small school. The staff knows you and your parents even if you’re not originally from there. You have chances to play a sport, there were clubs when I was in school. They give you career fairs to show you life options from real graduates. You’re incredibly safe whether you think so or not. As far as diversity goes no there really wasn’t much of it BUT you do have the option to spend half your day at BOCES and learn a trade or get pre college courses in, and there you meet all types of people from various schools. Senior: I moved here about 6 years ago halfway through sixth grade. It was only my second time going to a public school and I can't express how blessed I am to have ended up at this school. Everyone was incredibly nice and I met my best friend on my first day there. As far as academics goes, for being a small rural school the teachers really do care. Sometimes the arts and music get the short end of the stick but that is not the case at north warren wether your interests are math or art the teachers as well as guidance counselors will make sure you study what you love, while getting your required credits and getting extra help on any subjects you might struggle with. It is a small school but that means closer friends and community. Theres a strong and loving sense of friendship when you go to school, play sports and share a big chunk of your life with the same people everyday. Overall it is an amazing school.... Read 9 reviews
