Senior: I love Echo School District! The small class sizes make it much easier for each student to get one-on-one experience with teachers and makes it easier for each student to receive the help they need. In Echo, each teacher knows every student by name, and knows each students personality! I would definitely recommend this school district to anyone in the surrounding areas! Senior: I entered this school district as a freshman and the school environment was very intense but rewarding at times. I liked how close the community tied into the school activities. Playing basketball, I have many people from all over the community supporting me and I am very involved. I really like the teachers and the passion they share with us everyday. Although my experience has been great, I would like to see a little bit more of an expansion. I feel like we have very few teachers or even helpers. I would like to expand in that sense because the connection from student to teacher is very important in a small school. Considering it helps boost students educational self esteem and give them more reasons to want to come to school. Id also like to see more clubs and activities in our school district. There are very few clubs and outside activities that could be useful for kids who plan to attend college.... Read 1 review

Senior: Hermiston High School has brought many great experiences towards me. Throughout my four years attending, I have many memories of the staff, academic courses, including the CTE curriculum, and sports. The school has certainly been a game changer for preparing me for post secondary education. I find the use of scholarships necessary to pay for my books and tuition fees so I can achieve my goals.... Senior: I enjoyed the benefits of a small school, such as small classes and teachers that knew your name. I didn't enjoy the lack of opportunity when it came to learning about the fine arts such as painting, acting, or dance. The school is very sports-centered. Otherwise, it's a very good school.... Senior: I have only attended school in Pendleton County but over all have had an incredible experience. I have had some of the most patient and understanding teachers and the staff has always pushed me to do my best. Our school had the most enthusiastic GATES teacher and she made coming to her class enjoyable. She is retiring this year and will be missed! Alum: Pilot Rock High School is a close nit community that allows you to build strong, close relationships with peers, teachers, coaches, and the administration.
