Senior: Pearl City School has very good teachers who work hard everyday to prepare students for college. Their teachers also work to make students better human beings in general. Pearl City also has a variety of activites, so most students can find an extracurricular activity should they choose. Pearl City does not offer classes that fit most of the student's needs (what they would like to do after college) like mechanic classes or welding classes. I think if Pearl City School could add those as elective classes or try to offer them another way, more students would be interested and sign up.... Read 5 reviews

Senior: I've attended Dakota since Pre-School, and I can really only say good things about this school district. There are so many possibilities for every student here, and they develop more opportunities to get involved within the school every year. Yes, there are some flaws within the district, but what school district is perfect? Although I'm graduating this year, I will never forget the countless memories I've made here at Dakota.... Senior: My experience with the Freeport School District No. 145 was a good one. In my Math and English classes, the teachers really just taught in a way that made it all click and comes together in one coherent class. In my Science and Social Studies classes, the teachers always made it interesting and as someone who thoroughly enjoys both subjects, it made it all the better. Joining the NJROTC Unit was a great decision and I recommend it. The instructors were very knowledgeable and taught me many things about the Navy, but also things about life. We would have lessons about how to be more proactive and efficient in our lives and they used personal experience to illustrate how it would help us in our lives. The football coaches worked us hard on and off the field. They would hold study sessions before all the practices and kept on us about our grades. Overall, my experience was great and I won't forget the time I spent here and the skills I learned through my 4 years at Freeport Highschool.... Read 45 reviews
