Junior: Canyons School District is overall one of the better districts. However, I do have some complaints on the academics and teachers. Teachers often deter from their specific course and give out work that shouldn't necessarily be given to a high school student. I have some teachers who give out (in my opinion) primary school work, such as coloring or drawing, in core classes. I believe that time could be better spent than coloring in superheroes or trying to draw mice. I understand the activity is supposed to be fun, but as high school students we deserve to be better challenged. School culture is pretty good and students are relatively kind to each other. However, there isn't much diversity regarding culture: some but not a lot. The administration, on the other hand, is stellar. Senior: Salt Lake School district is overall a good place for students. The dedication they have for students shows from ever staff, administrators, teachers, etc. A change I would like to see is more support on college advice than just setting visits with colleges or universities. Alum: The district is generally organized and cares about their students. Occasionally there are decisions that are frustrating and feel like they were not fully considered and evaluated before being implemented. When this happens, the leaders are good at listening to members of the community to get these problems fixed. There could be more resources from students in both physical and mental need. Freshman: If I were to describe Granite School District I would describe it as a very high acedemicly wealthy school with a couple downsides on all other fronts. From my expirience, I was never not able to understand how they taught everything towards me. The problems arrose with the instructures. More times than not, I would completely understand the material that was being taught and the only problem would be that I would have troubles with the teachers. Wether this be with submitting certain assignments, to not having much help when I needed it. I will say however, I have had very good expiriences with the administration and office. I had been struggling with a lot of mental health issues and the counsling center of the school had really helped me with that and made me imporve not only just as a person, but academicaly aswell. In conclusion, I belive that there is a lot of good things about Granite School District but it still does lack within some departments.... Read 340 reviews

Alum: It was a great school! I attended there during high school and I got a great education! The teachers were very thoughtful and did everything they could to help their students learn and understand everything! The dress code also helped with students because no one had to ever stress about what they were wearing and if they were being judged. Middle School Student: I had a marvelous experience at Entheos Academy. The teachers all had a passion for learning and a love of their students. I felt known by each of them, and that my individualized learning was important to them. I had transferred from a traditional public school and it was challenging to keep up with the other students as there was this great atmosphere of doing your absolute best. The students there were very engaged. Entheos also has really fun curriculum, as it is an expeditionary learning center.
