Junior: Claremore Public Schools cares about their students and wants to see them succeed. The faculty and administrators continue to provide a safe, healthy environment for learning. However, the schools resources are limited and outdated. While the environment may be suitable for learning, the material is not. The athletics continue to receive the majority of attention and money. We have received new football helmets, gym, and football field before our STEM building. Junior: My experience with Sequoyah High School has been very memorable. Being apart of a small school has brought a family feel into my education. I have known some of the staff and my classmates since the first years of school. The staff is outstanding and very passionate about their teachings and students. The teachers make you feel loved and make sure that you leave their classroom filled with knowledge. Senior: Verdigris Public Schools is a good place for families. Many people from local areas have moved to Verdigris to raise their children in this environment that the administration has created. My family is one of them. I have absolutely loved my experience here. I have made lifelong friends and I have forged some friendships that feel more like family here. Parent: As the parent of two children in the lower school, I am extremely pleased with SSSAS. The Early Saints teachers make each day engaging for my 3-year-old. The monthly units the ES learn have prompted my son to apply what he’s learned to the world around him (the food unit they completed prompts a nightly discussion about which foods on his plate are muscle foods, brain foods, etc.). His teachers started a recent parent conference with 3 very specific adjectives to describe my son and given the examples they gave me, it is clear that really understand him as a whole child. My experiences with JK and K were also nothing short of fantastic; even during the pandemic the teachers were able to connect with my son. The K and 1st grade teachers have also provided my son a solid educational foundation; they have identified his strengths and given additional challenging work so that he hasn’t been bored. Senior: Over all Foyil is a great school. Most of the staff is wonderful. Always there to listen and help you learn. Teachers are involved in helping students with their future. There is only two down sides that I would complain about out of my whole pre K - 12 grade career. The first one would be one of the people with a higher rank in the school cares more about a sports team then actually education. As well as another individual who is the main college advisor who does not know how to stay on task with their job. But thankfully most of the staff are aware of these problems and extremely overcompensate for those two. Which makes it so much lovelier to be there.... Read 1 review

Freshman: Prep is an amazing school and gives an educational, athletic, and social experience of a lifetime. It is very challenging but all the teachers are there for you and the school gives you so many resources to succeed. The reason I did not give it 5/5 stars is for two reason : a mediocre science department and the fact that it is all-boys. Not having girls around is pretty rough. The school has an amazing buffet-style lunch and we have champ titles in almost all of our sports. Our dorms need improvement, but at the moment we are building a new boarding facility!... Parent: This school is absolutely wonderful. It is in a convenient location. The class sizes are small with two certified teachers in elementary classrooms. All of the staff are friendly and supportive. Most of the learning happens through play and making things rather than busy work. The specials classes in elementary are chapel, art, library, life skills, music, PE, and science. The science lady is a wildlife biologist!
