Senior: I can't name one bad thing about attending a high school in the Temecula Valley Unified School District. I've been a part of this district for twelve years and they truly do their best to accompany all students and their schools. From attending Red Hawk Elementary School, Erle Stanley Gardner Middle School, to Great Oak High School, TVUSD excel excellence in all areas. From listening to the voices of my classmates and recognizing their complaints, the district manages to handle all situations in a respectful and professional manner. They truly care about our voices and our thoughts about events occurring in the school district. Of course, each school has their flaws, but TVUSD does everything in their power to improve those flaws. Despite overhearing students strongly criticize TVUSD, you can't deny that TVUSD takes those constructive criticisms into consideration. They have always provided the opportunity to improve and better myself through counselors and people I can feel safe talking to. Senior: I’ve been a student at Palm Springs Unified School district since I was 4. This district has helped me made connections and memories growing up. They make sure to have their students involved and value academic resources. I also have 2 sibling who have attended/attended this district and have almost no complaints. They are very on top of there things. My favorite thing is how aware they are or real world problems, and how they try to help other kids in need. Freshman: Overall the best part of being in the Perris Union Highschool District is that the district really cares for all the students in their districts they do everything they can to make all the schools,teachers,and students happy in their district. They also prioritize academic learning over anything they want all their students to have good academics. The worst thing about this district is that some of the schools in the district aren't that well run and contain many issues from fights to poor staff to disgusting cafeteria food etc. What I would like to see changed in the district is maybe try to sort out the issues some of its schools posses and maybe some more appetizing cafeteria food besides stale pizza and dry burgers.... Senior: I have gone here for all four years of high school. I would say there is a lot that needs to change starting with the amount of how there are consistent people getting sick. I have noticed that whenever I come to school I form some allergies. This may be because we have an outdoor campus. Other than that I love this school. I feel like students are very present in school activities and love to be on campus. The teachers are average but more friendly than anything. Senior: My school district Hemet Unified School District has been making a lot of changes and they have been quite noticeable lately at Tahquitz High School. Our security has improved dramatically with the sensor machines placed at the entrance of our campus. Also we have been having more support for the arts like choir, band. We had our first District Performance for Choir and as one of the students who auditioned, was chosen and performed it was a great opportunity. Junior: My experience with Alvord Unified School District has been good, I haven't had any disagreements with my district. My school La Sierra High School has been amazing provided with teachers who make me want to learn everyday. The teachers provide me with motivation to do better in and outside of school. I have joined three high school sports and I only had trouble with the softball coach and had favorites which I disliked and made me lose interest in my favorite sport. Senior: I have been with MVUSD for most of my life, and I can safely say that it is one of the best experiences I have ever had. Everyone in the district is friendly, and the teachers provide the best experience for their students. The district offers various activities for parents and children of all ages at very reasonable costs. Senior: I have been a student here ever since I enrolled here in 2008. It brought me nothing but all knowledge, happiness, my culture, my people and becoming my second home forever. I will always be grateful for this unique place for changing my life and my experience. It is a bittersweet feeling knowing that this year is my last year of being around here. The high school's Advanced Placement classes are top-notch thing that has ever happened to me. Their teachers are amazing, we all have this direct communication access instead of adding a third person to the party. It is just going to be a part of me forever and ever.
