Senior: I have gone to Lexington my whole life. I have loved each building that I have attended through the years, but the High School has been my favorite. I have made so many connections with the teachers in that building. They truly care about your education and will do what is best for you. I have enjoyed taking a variety of different courses there including ceramics, human communications, and anatomy. I don't have very many bad experiences at Lexington. Lexington is the kind of school where students actually want to attend. I have always looked forward to going to school. If I could see one thing change it would be usage of the commons. We have beautiful common areas that aren't being used to their full potential. Overall, Lexington is an amazing school that is filled with amazing individuals.... Read 34 reviews

Junior: Love this school! I’m an upcoming junior this year, and times flying. I’m really going to miss everyone after senior year ends next year. You guys changed me for the better, and supported me after I was constantly bullied all of the time. It’s been a great opportunity to go here, being a part of the marching band is the best because we’re the best in Richland county. We’ve been invited to perform at only the most exclusive places such as severance hall. Which only invites 4 bands over the almost 1,000 schools in Ohio. Senior: I've went to Lucas since kindergarten and now I am a senior. Although I'm going to a vocational school, I'm still involved at Lucas through sports and other activities. Lucas is a small community school but a large community at heart. My sophomore year of softball we went to state, and it seemed like we got support from the entire town of lucas plus some. No matter what accomplishment anyone does, the community is there to cheer us on. At school, the teachers care for each and every student because of how small the classes are. And everyone knows each other on a first name basis, there are no cliques, although obviously not everyone hangs out with each other. But everyone does feel included. Sophomore: Our FFA program works together as a family and our food is pretty great! Also Crestview gives you many opportunities during the day to improve grades and get help if you need it, we also have an after school program called, “study tables” for kids who are struggling. We also have a 30 min gap time and even study halls. Teachers are willing to sit down and talk it out if we have a problem or if we don’t understand. Alum: Madison as a school district was one of the better districts in Mansfield. The teachers, even though they don't get paid nearly enough for it, as well as the rest of the staff are truly passionate about their careers and educating and inspiring the students in Madison. I know some teachers who are well into their 60s, have more than enough qualifications to move, or live over an hour away that refuse to leave Madison. Even the teachers that did leave for valid reasons still come around and visit, or cheer on their old students. The teachers and staff do their best to educate and create leaders and loving people to go out into their communities and the world and help. It is without a doubt that I would not be who I am without most of my teachers, from elementary school to high school. I would not wish to be graduating from any other school district....
