Alum: I went to National Trail my whole elementary, middle, and high school career and they are for sure dedicated to making you feel welcome. The school pride, the teachers, everyone comes together as one so well! It is quite a small school, k-12 all in one, you know pretty much everyone by name. The teachers are so involved with athletics, academics, and anything else you could think of. I don’t think there is anything that should change! Senior: Teachers and community were kind and very helpful. Classes cover some broad subjects allowed for students to pick classes that may help their future careers or college life. Block Scheduling helps divide information nicely and allows for the homework to not overwhelm students. However, since this is a small-ish town/city school most of the demographic are white country people. I also wish our arts programs and other sports had more funding than our football...... Sophomore: My school is great! But all schools have their flaws. I grew up going to Tri-County-North all my life and I love it. Teachers here care about your grades but that's what every teacher is supposed to worry about. The teachers here at Tri-County-North are different, they care about their students like they are their own children. Senior: I am a senior so I have attended the Preble Shawnee school district for 12 years now. I have loved my entire experience here from elementary school through middle school and now in high school. Through my journey, I have made tons of friends, tried lots of new classes and extracurricular activities, and have received an excellent education. I really like the size of my school. Having a smaller school gives me the ability to know all my classmates which wouldn’t be possible at a bigger school. I also really love how supportive everyone in the community is. However, I do think we could update our buildings to give our students better learning facilities. Along with the updated buildings, I believe we could better prepare our students for college. For example, offer more CCP classes, take questionnaires to find out our interest of study, and maybe create an ACT prep class. Overall, I love my school and am proud to be from Preble Shawnee, but I do believe we could improve in a few areas.... Read 14 reviews
