Senior: I like the positive environment, we have a lot of extra-curricular activities to be involved in. The teachers are very involved with the students. If I could change anything about the school district it would be that we need more freedom as students to do what we need to do, if you’re in high school they should leave it to your responsibility to if you can go to the restroom, etc. without having to ask the teacher.

Eastern Local School District (Beaver)

Freshman: I've always went to Eastern. I love that it is small and doesn't have a huge amount of students. I think more sports and clubs should be added for those who don't have an interest in what we have now. Most of the teachers are friendly and just great in general, while I believe some should retire already. I also think we should have an upgrade in the school lunches considering there's not a big selection on what we eat. I wish staff would take into consideration that some kids go home to no food. Overall, with academics, I think if every student actually wanted to learn and tried their very best, they would do very well. I think the teachers need to teach lessons at a more practical pace, instead of rushing through them. Overall, the rating on this school for myself is a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Of course there's going to be negatives, but hopefully this will change, and we can improve Eastern.
