Junior: My experience was pretty good. There are some instances where the teaching staff weren’t very adequate. There was an instance where I had a chemistry teacher who taught virtually from Vegas. She wasn’t great at communicating and she had a hard time grading our schoolwork. Other than instances like that, there are many opportunities to help in college. Senior: I have been going to smithton my whole life! they treat everyone very good, the teachers are always there for you! you can always talk to them about school, life anything they will support you through anything! sports at Smithton is so much fun! everyone gets a chance to play no matter what team your on! I like how Smithton is a small school so we do play other small schools! and we all make tons of friends! I am a showchoir girl & I recommend everyone do it! you won't regret it one bit! the practices are fun, competitions are a blast! theres nothing boring about it. Alum: Northwest is a small school where everyone knows you. Because of this, you are able to create great relationships with students and staff alike. Every teacher is always there and willing to do whatever they need to help you succeed. The only thing that Northwest could improve on is what they offer. Senior: I enjoy the small feel of the school as it does not feel overwhelming with a large amount of people and places. The teachers are very friendly and are always there to help if you need it. The administration are always looking out for us and helping us in any way they can. The only problem I have with the school at times is the lack of resources, possibly due to funding. Overall, my experiences at La Monte have been very positive and if you were looking to attend a smaller school La Monte is where to go.
