Santo Independent School District
Senior: Santo is a very small town with each class size averaging around 30 students. This was the perfect environment for me to grow up in. I had the opportunity to know every single student in my school and develop a rapport with my teachers. They went above and beyond in making themselves available for every student who needed help, in and out of the classroom. Additionally, Santo offers band, sports, FFA, UIL, One Act Play, Beta Club, Student Council, etc). The sponsors and coaches of these teams work brilliantly together to share students. In a school as small as Santo, each kid has the chance to be a part of everything. Unfortunately, as much as Santo does have to offer, this district is lacking in diversity and college readiness. Still, Santo is a great district to attend for personal learning, tight-knit classes, and numerous activities. Even the lack of college readiness can be made up for if students remain diligent....
