Sophomore: Port Aransas High School is, in my opinion, one of the best schools out there. The teachers provide plenty of one on one time to help with schoolwork and to guide you. Classes are taught very well, and it's hard to fail in such an environment. Senior: My experience at London ISD has been a very good one. I love the close knit community being apart of a small school provides. There are only 72 students in my graduating class and I wouldn't have it any other way! I get to graduate with my best friends and it is such a blessing! The academics at London ISD have been challenging, yet worth while. I have had some great experiences taking the upper level courses my school provides. I will be graduating high school with a full years worth of college credit which is such a nice advantage going into my freshman year of college. The athletics department at London ISD has also been an area that I thrived in during my 4 years spent there. The school provides all of the sports that any bigger schools in my area provide and we've been able to remain competitive in our district in almost all of them. Senior: I have had a wonderful experience as a student at Flour Bluff, both in junior high and in high school. Before junior high, I had been homeschooled, and when I first came to flour bluff, I was a bit shy. However, the school's many teams and extracurricular activities provided me with many opportunities to make friends and enjoy myself. In addition, the education I received was excellent. Parent: The teachers and staff are wonderful! Always quick to respond and help when they can! The food menus are diverse and have multiple options for the students! My kids have loved the food and I hardly ever pack a lunch. I do think they could do a little more for the higher learning percentage of kids. Lots of school activities and parent involvement. Junior: I like that at West Oso High School there is a lot of help that is guaranteed for you. All the teachers, administrators, and counselors are always there for you and they help you maintain your grades while still being self efficient. I believe the school could be better in having more spirit but that is the only downside. Senior: During my time at Robstown Early College High School, I was able to create memories that will last a lifetime. The incredible teachers and faculty members established a mind set in the in us that we must believe. First of all, in ourselves no matter where we originate or our circumstances and secondly, we can make our dreams into reality. My teachers made it a necessity to keep our minds optimistic and to plan for a brighter/ better future. We were fortunate enough to obtain college credits while undergoing high school courses. I was able to gain a certificate in phlebotomy at the incredible age of 16. As I walk the stage in 2021, I will remember all the supportive mentors I’ve had while attending RECHS. So many different backgrounds and personalities that molded me into the person I am today. If I had to change anything my first response would be to create more clubs and extracurricular options.
