Senior: Being a student attending the Appoquinimink School District for almost 12 years has been a challenging course. As you transition into high school, many of the classes are difficult, especially classes within the Forensics or Allied Health pathway. Good grades must be earned in this district. But, the Appoquinimink School District does offer many extracurricular activities, diverse electives, and great opportunities for students. In the future, I would love to see the Appoquinimink School District use more of their money towards high school sports. In the locations of Middletown and Odessa, there is a lot of land near our schools. Instead of putting it to waste, I believe the district can invest in more fields or better stadiums. Odessa High School, is the newest high school in the Appoquinimink High School. In fall of 2020, Odessa became a high school and I most definitely see where our district has used its money into their programs and especially their buildings.... Read 103 reviews

Senior: My experience with the Red Clay consolidated school district has been very long. Since I have experience with different districts I can say that ed clay has been one of the best. I love how diverse Delaware is in general but Thomas Mckean High School is the most diverse school i've went to since Brader Elementary. The sports experience has been quite incredible for Swim, Track, Tennis, And Cross country. The only team that needs some work is soccer and Football on teamwork and respectfulness. On another end we have the Theatre program. I think more funding needs to be invested in the arts but not just Theatre. Piano, Choir, Art, and Band needs some investments as well. I would love a bit more encouragement from kids and for the district to change the middle ground for grades from 25 back to 50%. That's pretty much what I have the Red Clay School District. Senior: My experiences at brandywine have been normal and good. It’s not a big drama school everyone is pretty chill. Some teachers are bad but there are good ones. I had a bad experience with my algebra 2 teacher, she was pretty bad at teaching in general. My chemistry teacher was mean but strict and made us do our work and taught well. The rest of my teachers have been pretty nice. There was one administrator in my junior year who was mean and no one liked her. Senior: My experience in Christiana High School was a unique journey. I started in the Middle School Honors Academy as a part of the first class and I am now completing my senior year with the high school. I am in dual enrollment and have taken a number of AP courses as well and from my experience I prefer the dual enrollment classes. The dual enrollment classes are challenging and they provide a good foundation with Wilmington University, the institution that partnered with Christiana to give the best experience to college-ready students. I also believe that Christina High School offers numerous extracurricular activities for their students to succeed after high school. I‘ve been in Christiana High School’s marching band for 5 years and I am currently in HOSA offered through the school. I was also vice president of my freshman class.
