Senior: I am currently attending Greenville Public School as a senior. Throughout my four years of being here, I have experienced many things from good to bad. In my opinion, I believe we have excellent clubs and activities. For me, I participate in the art club and the Lotus project. My school also provides some of the classes I would like to take for college readiness. I have taken multiple art classes, physics, CAD, algebra 1-2 and geometry that will for sure help me further my career as an architect. The teachers are also very helpful and they care about there students. Although there are some downfalls to Greenville High school, for me, it's the athletic office. For instance, our athletic director favors certain sports, therefore, the other teams are treated unfairly. Another thing is the choice of classes. Senior: Lakeview Community Schools has a very close knit educational system that sets students up for success by creating bonds and relationships between students and faculty. Being in a small school allows you to be a person, not a number. It allows teachers to reach out specifically to those in need. Because Lakeview is a close community, students are able to lean on others when they are in need, and not feel bad about it. Lakeview allows people to succeed inside and outside of the classroom.... Alum: I went to Central Montcalm through my whole school career, and I really did enjoy it. The teachers work hard to educate the students and to work with them. They are also very easy to get along with. They also have someone to assist students in preparation for college and make that an important option for students to take advantage of. They have multiple extracurricular activities and groups to join that include Band, theater, multiple sports to choose from, choir, NHS, art club, yearbook, etc. The staff makes safety of the students the number 1 priority, followed by education as well as inclusion. Given the location, no, the diversity is not like it would be in a larger city/town, however their foreign exchange program is strong and continuous to help the students meet new people and introduce them to other cultures with the yearly Foreign Exchange Student "show and tell" if you will, either during the art show or a separate event for the students.... Senior: Overall, my experience at Carson City was good. The downfalls of the school are: lack of nonathletic activities & clubs, gross food, and half the teachers don't teach well, or do not care. There is a lack of diversity, because Carson City is a small, and mostly white town. The sports teams are very good. Most students are involved in sports, or the few clubs we have. Students at the school are a lot nicer and accepting than students at other schools, but it can still be hard to make new friendships. Safety is pretty good at the school. Doors are locked during school hours, and parents/guests have to ring a bell and be approved by the office to get in. Some of the administration is really bad, but some are good. The school does not have air conditioning, which sucks because the school starts a lot earlier in the summer than other schools.... Read 9 reviews

Senior: I love being able to go to a school at the most 10 minutes away from where I live. There are only about 45 students in my graduating class, us being the second largest in the high school. There are just under 200 people in my high school. This being said, I love that we have a sense of community not only within the walls of the school, but outside as well. We have great relationships in the school with administration and teachers. There is always time for one on one with the teachers and students. The sports are not always the greatest, having to combine JV and Varsity teams because of lack of numbers, but even though we may not always rank the highest, I wouldn't trade it for the world. Having the opportunity to be a part of this small town and school is something that I will be eternally be grateful for carry with me as I move on in life.... Read 7 reviews
