Senior: I felt like I was part of a legacy. Several members of my family went to Bowie High School and it felt good to carry on that tradition. The school overall was good but like everything it could be improved. It is a pretty diverse school for it being a small town. There are a lot of cliques, either you belong or you don’t. The popular people stick with the popular people, and the unique people stick with the unique, but both cliques have a very jaded view of the other. They are neither welcoming to outsiders and scared to go against the grain and accept a person for who they are. I know so much about both of them because I was an outsider to both cliques, I never felt like I belonged anywhere. If you were to ask other people at my school what they thought about BHS many would talk badly, but I see both the good and the bad. The facility itself it very clean and has all of the modern amenities you could ask for. The janitorial staff and faculty is excellent.... Read 19 reviews

Senior: I have attended Forestburg ISD since I was in the sixth grade. My parents moved my brother and I to this school because our previous school was not suitable for us. Ever since I have been at FISD, I have been extremely happy. It is the perfect size school for every student. The administration is super caring and sweet, and regardless of what you are going through, they are always willing to give up their time to help those in need.
