Alum: i enjoyed the work environment and the faculty in the school district. I would love to see more inclusiveness for the students in extracurricular activities instead of it being popularity based. There is also an issue with the counselors not assisting in need students to help them achieve success academically instead favoring those who are already excelling. If this was fixed the graduation rate in the district and overall performance would be drastically improved.

Alum: Fort Bragg High School was a fantastic experience. I loved the social aspect of it and everyone was so sweet. I started off in a rough place, I really disliked going back home. So school was one of my escapes even though there was lots of homework. I joined the track team to keep myself busy and stay on the right track in life. I excelled in track and I felt like a part of something. I was also chosen as a homecoming king which was an honor. I wished the school would help step in and prevent bullying. Often times I find myself helping out others preventing them from getting bullied and by befriending them.

Senior: One of my fondest memories at Ukiah High School was that they gave me the option to visit other colleges in my freshman year. This let me get a feel for the college life at the very start of high school. They also let me join the middle college program my sophomore year which has opened more doors to my academic success than I ever would have imagined.

Senior: I appreciate the small class sizes and the personal interaction with teachers. They care about me, and care that I am learning. Our cafeteria is known for homemade food, sometimes coming from our own garden. Our sports program is growing as our enrollment grows.

Senior: My highschool experience at point arena highschool was very difficult but easy at the time with the nice and supportive staff there is. What I most liked about point arena joint union high school was the staff that figures out a way to help you academically and personally and helps you grow as a person. What I would like to see change a as a student is the constant change in principals throughout highschool.

Senior: Willits high school has helped me to develop my skills as a English learner. The stuff there is really comprehensive with students that not speak the language very well, thanks to all the stuff that has help me to accomplish the A-G requirements in order to move on to college this incoming year. Thanks to some Teachers there that have killed me to Open my eyes and see what I wanna do after high school, thanks to those people who Helped me through all four years of high school And who have Guide me to overcome all obstacles I’ve been through as a migrant student.
