Senior: I like how small the school is, because you get a closer relationship to peers and teachers. I've never had an issue with the staff or academics. Some things that I wish were better are parent and student involvement. It is encouraged but not as much as it should be. I've had a good experience with all my teachers. In some classes they made sure to challenge people to make them better students. They always help those who struggle in their classes and have goals to see us succeed. Parent: ACS has exceeded our expectations. It was not on our radar until the year before our oldest started Kindergarten. It was not an easy decision for us (cost) to send our first. We are now finishing our second year and have never second guessed this choice. So many experiences and relationships for both our child and ourselves as parents have been incredibly affirming. We are so excited that our second will be attending K next year, and this time around, the decision was a no brainer! What impresses us: 1) The creativity and enthusiasm of the teachers; it is apparent that teaching is their calling. They nurture love of learning in their students. Lessons are so intentional, thoughtful and productive. 2) The building of community is a genuine commitment. Children are supported in building friendships, in demonstrating respect and appreciation for one another. Parent: RPMS is a wonderful school. Many new montessori schools are popping up and implementing this approach for the first time, RPMS has been perfecting it for over 50 years. Their teachers are knowledgeable, deeply respectful of the kids and really emphasize community.
