Alum: I was involved in the orchestra music program and playing football. I became a member of the National Honor Society my senior year of high school. I also developed a high interest in the BioTechnology field during high school and took some classes related to the subject. Outside of school, I was a member of the Boy Scouts. I believe that Williamsport Area High School has a wide variety of music programs, academics, sports, clubs/activities, and so on. Alum: I was a student at this school district my entire childhood all the way till graduation. There were a lot of beautiful memories with caring teachers that would give the world and more for their students, and some teachers that would do their taxes and hand out busy work. One specific teacher stated to a class that: "the complaints go in this box" as he held a garbage can with a sign on it. Senior: I have attended school South Williamsport for all my schooling, minus my sophomore year of high school. I left to attend a large high school in southern Florida. My time in Florida ways eye-opening and made me more appreciative of my small school. I appreciate knowing my peers and feeling a close connection to teachers. I really enjoyed my AP Chemistry class, taught by Matthew Eisley, and passed the exam at the end of the year. Jamie Bloom is my AP Calculus teacher and has made the class very doable and enjoyable, despite the challenging material. Emily Wagner, the senior high counselor, has always been incredibly approachable and helped me enroll in an online American Sign Language course where I was able to further my ASL knowledge and skills. I was captain of the Varsity Cheerleading team my senior year of high school, which helped me make lots of friends. Overall, my experience at South Williamsport has been very enjoyable....
