Parent: We have had an amazing experience at Burgundy! Our daughter loves school and we find it to be a great balance of both independence and structure to help her flourish. The teachers are wonderful and focus on the whole child with education that includes academic, emotional and social development. It is a strong community that is supportive of students and families. We love how the curriculum ties into areas of interest for the children and helps to build lifelong love of learning and appreciation for the world around them. They are able to enjoy a lot of time learning in nature on their beautiful campus. We can't imagine being anywhere else for the K-8 experience.... Read 11 reviews

Parent: After retaining an educational consultant and searching the entire DMV for the right independent school, we chose Stone Ridge. We were impressed with the school's sprawling campus and Aquatic Center, but fell in love with the all-girl environment and the school's ubiquitous message of empowerment. Our lower and middle school daughters have already formed wonderful friendships and a love of learning! Parent: The Admissions department made the application process seamless. They were easy to reach; gladly returned phone calls and inquiries; and, assisted with the application process during each step. Compared to other independent college prep institutions, RMA is a small school. However, we were thoroughly impressed with the diversity that we saw during the summer camp program; We were pleased to see that it carried over to the academic year. The curriculum is rigorous. The staff is caring. There are a variety of extracurricular activities that are day and boarding inclusive.
