Senior: I have attended Neshannock since the 1st grade and have always been so thankful I was able to grow up and learn in this district. This school has endless clubs and activities that any student can participate in and that why I am so passionate about my school. I am a cheerleader and volleyball player. I have become a state champion and learned to play sports with many athletic females by my side in elementary school and all four years of high school. I hold several presidential positions including: National Honor Society, Class of 2023, Neshannock FBLA, and Region 02 FBLA. I am also a member of student government and the student representative for Neshannock’s Health and Wellness Committee. Neshannock has given me the opportunity to be an active member in my school district by offering extracurriculars I have been able to participate in, teaching me to be versatile, a leader, and a successful teammate. Works Here: Many will claim Wilmington is flawed yet the truth is plain to see. Students are excelling academically and our sports teams are unmatched. The marching band is a diamond amongst other nearby schools! The only things lacking is clubs (barely has any!) and the food is terrible (except for the pizza)... Read 35 reviews

Sophomore: I loved the diversity that the school environment offered. The ability to meet an abundance of personalities and emotions, it is a great way to embrace yourself. I, personally was impacted due to the many people I had, and still do, meet in this school. Many staff and students are very studious, they have ambitions and ensure to push one another. Whether it be academically or within an athletic field. However, through the enjoyable moments the negatives are embraced. Union lacks many extracurriculars, as well as extra credit classes. Although they have classes such as journalism and forensic science, the boundaries are limited. I would love to see a wider range of hobbies expressed throughout Union's extra credit classes. Senior: I loved how teachers and coaches were always available to open up to and be there as a friend and not just a teacher. They aren’t everyday teachers as well, they are very educated and knowledgeable on the subjects they teach. In modern society we have lost important skills like welding, wood shop, farming, and home economics ,but at laurel all of these skills are taught. Laurel athletically is top notch with most of our sports going on playoff runs and having individual success in multiple of sports. If there was anything negative it would have to be that the school does not have much money to spend with there not being much business in the school district. This leads to below average facilities and pay towards its employees. Laurel was voted as a blue ribbon school in the country so that right there tells you what type of school Laurel is.... Senior: All of the teachers at Ellwood are amazing! They all are very helpful and make sure students are comfortable and understand all of the content they teach! They have many opportunities for athletics, clubs, and many options for extracurricular activities! Alum: During my time at Mohawk High school, I enjoyed the time I had with my friends. There were many events that they held that let me hang with my friends and get a chance to be social with other students in the building. Although Mohawk had some great experiences and great students and facility their support could have been shown more. Senior: My experience at New Castle was honestly the best! From the sports to the education, I would not rather go to any school. I love playing softball and volleyball throughout my high school life. Most importantly I loved the fact that the teachers were always understandable, with anyone's problems or if a student couldn't understand something they would be there to help. New Castle's honors and AP course were hard, but if you could get through those I heard that college is a breeze. So I know I am college ready thanks to New Castle High School!
