Senior: I really loved my high school. I was a transfer student freshman year and I was very nervous to start at my new school. However, I was given a friendly welcome and a great education. I first hated the fact that I had to move away from my old school but I realized that life at this school was probably much better than it would have been at my old school education wise. Senior: I started in the Nashua school district as a 5th grader. The staff was very supportive as soon as I was introduced to the district, I was put into an ELL program which allowed me to round myself with people with similar struggles. Middle school came by, nothing other than ELL classes were offered to me, I was placed in lower-level classes because of where I came from. As the last year of middle school came by, teachers discouraged me from taking higher-level classes in high school because of who I was. I listened, and my high school GPA took a hard hit. Nobody had explained to me how the system worked, so I was just left on my own to figure it all out. As a senior now, I have pushed myself to a full schedule of AP classes as well as 8 Biotechnology Dual-enrollment credits. Sometimes things happen for a reason because now I learned that I am much more than someone else's opinion. Senior: The Litchfield School District has been great to its students over the past years. The administration, especially at Campbell High School, is stellar, and even if the teachers are not all perfect, they care about our education. For a small school there is a quite an array of classes, and if there is a vocational class not provided, surrounding high schools allow you to take those classes there. The food could use some improvement and the schools are not very diverse at all, but other than that, this is a great district. The parents are very involved and our sports programs are great, starting at the elementary level, all the way up to high school sports. Overall, from loading my schedule with honors and AP classes for the past two years I feel ready for college which is the most important thing.... Read 8 reviews

Junior: I've been in the ConVal district for my entire schooling career. The small-town vibe allows for close friends and a relatively tight-knit class. The teachers are good at making students feel welcome, and the success rates are relatively high. Something the district can fix is the way they spends their money. My mom has been in many leadership organizations run by the schools since elementary, and there has been issues. Many people disagree on the way money is spent, and mental health/climate change had to be accommodated recently thanks to student run organizations. However, I have learned so much in my years of schooling here and have made lifelong connections with my peers, teachers, and the community. Senior: I have lived in Milford all my life, and I can say with full confidence that the Milford School District deeply cares about their enrolled students. Throughout my years, significant changes have been made and are continuing to be made, to better the education from what we had years prior. The excellent education and devoted teachers make a significant impact on the daily lives of the students. Many students form personal bonds with their educators, from which the educator visually is always concerned about their students’ well-being. The educational system at their schools also provide limitless opportunities for each and every student that walks through the front doors. I have had a phenomenal amount of support from my educators who have encouraged me to exceed my limits, and follow my aspirations. Parent: I think the real measure of a successful education is to follow the students after they leave and go on to higher education influenced by their basic education received. I know of many teachers one college professor at a prestigious college, a doctor, a computer expert, a chief of Police and that is just from knowing a few kids graduating from Alvirne High School. Senior: I have had a great experience at Mascenic. I like how it is a small community and how the teachers really get to know you. Mascenic is also a very good school when it comes to academics. The teachers do a great job of making sure the students have all the help they need. There is however a few things that could improve. To start i would say the diversity there is almost none. The second thing would be the food, It really inst the best. I do also think that the music and art could improve just a little bit, maybe by giving that department just a little bit more money.... Senior: I am a senior at Hillsboro-Deering High School, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. My teachers at HDHS have been immensely supportive, and I've really enjoyed my time there. Our district treats its employees well, and because of that many of the high school teachers have been at HD for 15+ years. Though we are a small rural school, I never felt like HD was lacking in opportunities. I've taken 6 AP classes, and every AP test I took I passed. Senior: I greatly enjoyed my experience at Manchester Central High School. I always got a strong sense from my teachers that they enjoyed teaching and were happy they were able to teach at Central each day. Being located in a city, and taking in kids from nearby towns has created a very diverse group of students that attend Central, which I have certainly valued becuase a diverse population brought in a share of culture, perspectives, and ideas. The students have a great sense of community. Our academics are very diverse, sending kids to Ivy League schools at least every year i've attended. The guidance and administrative staff is helpful and always goes above and beyond to be helpful. There are so many options for clubs and sports. All of that combined makes Central a very well-rounded school full of opportunities. Because of that each student there has a great sense of Central Pride! Senior: My personal experience with The Amherst school district has been very good. from Amherst Middle School to Souhegan High School the teachers have been providing students with the knowledge they need to continue to be successful. The teachers in Middle school prepared us well for high school making the transiting a little less scary. My personal experience with High school has been very good. Even with loosing a few years to Covid, Souhegan stepped up through those tough times and continued to provide each kid with the good education they always have provided. I give credit to all the teachers at Souhegan for always be available to help, and being another person to talk to when I need. All the faculty and staff are nothing but nice at Souhegan and that has helped make the high school experience so much better. Souhegan gives student a lot of trust, freedom and responsibilities preparing you for life outside of high school. I have apricated my time at the Amherst school District.... Read 4 reviews
