Niche User: Great school! if you want to have freedom to study at different times of day or night. The classes are designed to keep you interested in making progress. There are many, many tests of various degree of difficulty and you can re-take most of them. You can communicate with teachers and they are very responsive. I think that material, class design and overall studying conditions are perfect for one who wants to catch up with high school classes without going back to regular school. Senior: Everything about Waco is amazing from the staff to the students. Waco runs on a four day week which is so great to be able to get any school work you have done. You have so much more time to spend with your friends and family. Waco has an amazing staff team. Teachers are always willing to help you with anything you need and are always there to talk to you if you have issues in your private life. Teachers are always there to support you, my teacher is taking time out of her day to come watch me sign for cross country! Students are so friendly and with Waco being a small school you know everyone. You make so many friends and make many memories together. We have class games we play before going on breaks where the whole school gets together after lunch and play games for 20min and win prizes. Waco always makes sure to include everyone and never lets anyone feel left out. Overall Waco is amazing school and when I am older I want to send my children here to learn.... Read 6 reviews

Junior: Hi, my name is Dawson and Today is my first day being a junior at WMU and I can’t wait to start this year and start getting ready for college. This school has done so much for me, and I’m glad my parents enrolled me here. All the teachers are nice and they help me whenever I can’t figure something out. The athletic program at WMU is awesome, I go out for every sport available for a boy going to WMU. The coaches here are awesome and the get on you sometimes, but that’s just cause they want to see us succeed. That’s all my experiences at WMU so far and can’t wait for what comes next.... Alum: The teachers are fun and easy to talk to and the entire staff works really hard to help students (especially when they are mentally ill and need extra help with stress and focus) There's a wonderful special ed staff that all of the kids that need some extra help abaolutely adore. There is an hour everyday where students go to the library, the commons area, or a teachers classroom that makes sure kids get their homework done and get the help they needed. The commons area has television and lots of comfortabke seating and the gym is also open during that hour. Since it is such a small town, New London, the school os also very small and the kids form a different bond than in most schools. You know everybodies names and everybody is very good friends (I have never seen new kids or kids that dont tend to fit in get treated better anywhere else) Overall it's a wonderful school and I'm really glad (as one of those odd nerdy kids that usually doesn't fit in) that's the school I went to....
