Parent: The Greencastle-Antrim School District has been just what we wanted when we located here. We wanted a small town community, rich in tradition, and with schools that will encourage our children to grow and become well-rounded citizens. This district exemplifies all that is great in small town America. The teachers are passionate and care deeply about every child's success. There are many opportunities for enrichment and extracurricular activities to include sports, clubs, and the performing arts. Alum: All of the teachers I had were very nice, understanding, and helpful with the students. School was mostly rather clean and organized; it was easy to get to one class to another on time. Campus was small but had a very efficient layout. My only complaints would probably be about the cafeteria food and the administration. Senior: Some things I like about my school are the staff, students and classroom experiences. Although they do not offer that many AP courses because we are a small school, I think the ones we have are valuable and help prepare me for college classes. Some things I dislike about the school are their notification process. Sometimes students do not receive the information they need because they are at career tech or work. Since these students are not at school the district does not frequently reach out to them and let them know about important dates or events. Senior: I liked Fannett Metal High School because of it being such a small school we were able to have one on one discussions about our future and how to further succeed. I would change one thing and that would be for us to be able to express ourselves more rather than the students having such a strict dress code. This was difficult due to the fact that instead of focusing on the school itself you had to stress about dress code and if you were following it one hundred percent. I would have honestly preferred just to have uniforms. I would have also liked to have more opportunities available to me which were difficult with us being such a small and unknown school....
