Senior: Garden City High School is different than other high schools in the area, it’s a new building with many windows—sometimes the hall you’re walking in is made of windows (which I love when it snows)—but, it really offers amazing opportunities. There are different academies in our school that help facilitate your needs. The different academies are there to help you choose what you would like to do in a future career or college. There is an outstanding amount of art classes, theatre, culinary, orchestra and band along with many stem courses, welding, agricultural science and more. Everyone is welcome to an environment where they are allowed to learn and grow, there are constant student based events during or after school where students can meet colleges or future employers, and others where they can connect to other students and people in the community.
