Parent: We enrolled our son for his junior year in the fall of 2020. We made the decision because the online learning offered by our public school did not work for our son. Fusion staff met with us to determine the appropriate classes to take and even offered and conducted a 'trial' session so our son could get a feel for how it would work. Even though a lot of the year was conducted virtually due to COVID it was still a great experience. One-on-one online classes are very different than one teach and 25-30 students. 5 out of 6 of my son's teachers took the time to really get to know him, understand how he learns and what makes him tick. The teachers are able to connect with students at Fusion in a way that just is not possible in larger environments. Parent: Sidwell has provided my children with an exceptional academic experience emphasizing critical thinking and problem solving, writing and communications, and quantitative reasoning. The workload has been substantial at times, but always enriching and interesting (i.e., rarely if ever busywork) and will fully prepare students for the rigors they'll experience in college and beyond. Senior: I've been in the Rogers Public School District from kindergarten to senior year. My experience has been excellent. The teachers care about their students, but there are still teachers who only care about their paychecks. When it comes to education, mostly all teachers know how to teach their curriculum in a way that is easy for the students to understand. In High School, the faculty's preparation to prepare students for college isn't the most effective. From my experience, they wait until senior year to start advising students about college. By senior year, it is too late, and everything "hits" you in the face leaving some students to fear or become anxious about college. Overall, the Rogers Public Schools District is an excellent place to enroll your child because they provide plenty of resources in a warm and welcoming environment to ensure that your child is successful....
