Senior: Cuero Independent School District has been my home since Pre-K , and I've loved every second of it. It is a small community where everyone knows and cares for each other. Academically, the students are held to a higher standard and are given the required tools to do so. The teachers are amazing and give their students equal attention and support. CISD also offers many programs, sports, clubs, and much more for the students’ different interests. In my opinion, Cuero Independent School District is an excellent place, not only for college and career readiness, but also to help develop strong, independent student leaders. Senior: I have been involved and apart of the Nordheim athletic program all through high school. Basketball, freshman, sophomore, and junior years; golf, junior and senior years; and baseball, freshman and sophomore years. I have participated on the Nordheim FFA BBQ Pit and Welding Team the last two years. This is where I learned I had a passion and natural talent for welding. When I graduate in May I will have earned my Business and Industry Indorsement with my High School diploma along with my Basic Welding Certification. I have already been accepted to Victoria College for the Fall 2023 semester to earn my Advanced Welding Certification. After completing my Advanced Welding at Victoria College I will then transfer to a Commercial Diving School to earn my Expert Diver Certification. With these certifications my goal is start pursuing my career path in the Hyperbaric Welding Industry.... Read 2 reviews
