Junior: I really enjoyed the staff at Sisters High School and their level of care for their students. Even the janitorial staff genuinely cares about your well-being and you can feel it throughout the school. Parent: Our family has 3 separate experiences. My kids were in Terrebonne School through 5th grade; it was well-organized, teachers were great, and we loved the small-town feel, which was a bit more conservative. In middle school they switched to Central Christian, which has been wonderful! We felt that was a safer environment than public middle school, it lines up with our values, and the teachers are amazing. For myself, I've been taking classes at Central Oregon Community College; I have been challenged and stretched beyond what I thought I could do a year ago, but I'm learning and growing, and it's going to help me get a better job. Junior: I love the teachers and administration however, I don’t like the new 4 point grading system. It makes it extremely hard to succeed especially for students similar to me who typically do well in school. I have still upheld a 4.0 but barely. To expand further on the teachers, almost all teachers in our district make efforts to connect with us as students and take almost every opportunity to work with us and help us succeed. I am very appreciative of our administration as well. They have helped me overcome hardships with students and teachers. They also have helped me plan my future and become confident in a plan of action with college, my career and any personal goals I desire to accomplish through the span of my life. I am not only excited but inspired as to what I have ahead in my future of education. I look forward to achieving my goals and learning and expanding more into my passions, interests and hobbies.
