Alum: I enjoyed my experience with Yorktown. I think the teachers were all generally very nice and I really liked how most of them seemed to really care. I think there can be a problem with the students themselves being rude and it's slightly a reflection of the school, but also hard to control. I think there are a few teachers, specifically in math, that don't quite meet the best standard. In general I feel as if most people agreed the more they taught the more confused we all were. There also were a few teachers throughout the schools that tried really hard to be friends with the students and often favored who seemed to be the popular group. Senior: I currently still attend wapahani highschool I love all the schools but the admin at the highschool just isn’t all too great. They don’t listen half the time especially when there’s a problem. Everyone else is great. But if there’s a problem and you complain they make u feel you’re the problem. Senior: Delta High School is an amazing school corporation. Delta is a high school filled with caring teachers, and motivated students who love to learn. Additionally Delta is also accredited as a University, which means students can receive college credit. Furthermore Delta is a high school not like most and an excellent place to send kids.... Parent: I love being able to send my children to Cowan. It’s a smaller school but the staff is amazing and always has been. They make sure the children are safe & they keep striving to give them many options on working towards college. I love them getting more individualized attention with being a smaller school. My husband and I both went to school here as well. We are known for sports as well, two MLB players came from this school & have an amazing volleyball program & Won State! I love the community. Senior: It's a small school and the teachers really get to know you and care about you. Many of my teachers, I've had for several subjects. Senior: I transferred from Delta High School due to issues I had on bullying, and the staff who would not do anything about the harassment. The administrators did not seem to care about students, but at Wes-Del that is completely different. All of the teachers here love and care about each and every one of the kids that attends here. They truly make an impact on everyone's experience in high school. I really couldn't ask for a better school.... Read 6 reviews
