Senior: As an upcoming senior, I have a lot of experience in this school. I was fortunate enough to be able to take many interesting and educational classes that were taught by teachers that truly loved what they did. I also have had the privilege of playing on the field hockey team, this team has taught me a lot about hard work, determination, and the importance of team culture. The best part of my experience so far as a student at Lower Dauphin High School has been being able to obtain knowledge in specific elective classes, such as AP Psychology. The worst part of my experience has been the upkeep of the school itself. There is constantly leaks in the ceiling or mold growing in the ceiling. I believe that is why people get sick very often during the school year. If it was taken care of better, then less kids would have to miss school due to illnesses as a result. Senior: I have been in the Central Dauphin School District since Kindergarten. I have always enjoyed being in the school district because my classmates were nice and I grew up to have a nice sports program in high school. Central Dauphin has allowed me to learn what I do and don't like and we are given many class options in high school that best fit our interests. One thing about Central Dauphin is that it does not prepare us for the future very well. Learning about colleges, how to apply, and how to look for scholarships is not something we have explained to us. Navigating through this time as a senior would be simpler, if, as juniors, we were taught the basics. Some teachers also have not been understanding with students' home lives or mental issues that may be going on, but I guess that happens in most schools.... Read 132 reviews

Alum: The help throughout the Community is absolutely amazing. The opportunities grow among different choices that could be made such as Scholarships, Jobs within the Community, Events and Social Gatherings. The college itself help students of need that do not want to pay as much money as needed throughout their college experience.
