Senior: Cumberland Valley is an excellent school district that allows you to grow in your own way. It offers many different courses that allow you to participate in classes that will help you with your future and learn what you may or may not enjoy. The amount of clubs are also an amazing opportunity as you can go above and beyond in both helping the community and learning about what you love in life. The teachers are also great there, since they care about both your well-being and how you are doing in class. The school lunches are pretty good, and it was very nice for students when they made them free while everyone was struggling during the pandemic. I think that the schools feel safe since we practice drills for a lot of possible situations that could happen while we are there. Overall, I think that the school district is truly spectacular! Senior: The school district is going under many renovations and improvements as the district continues to grow with new neighborhoods and more people moving into the town. There are many teachers that are very caring and wanting students to do great in the future and out of all the ones I have had I would say that all of them treated me with respect and with good interests in my future. As well the school district has just switched into semester block scheduling and classes are now 85 minutes in length and can lead to some classes being drawn out and others having more to do and planning around it very well. Senior: A lot of the teachers are very caring, but the learning environment could be better. The other students can be very distracting. Also, if you don’t understand something, the other kids might complain about it and it depends on the teacher for what will happen. Alum: I attended EPHS for my entire high school career. While much of it was a normal high school experience I never felt like I was missing out while going there. It was never perfect, especially since I attended during the COVID-19 pandemic, but i wouldn't change anything. I felt that most of the teachers genuinely cared for their students, and that even in tough times, theadministration tried it's best to keep students, staff, and parents satisfied. I graduated as a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and as an editor for the literary magazine.
